9 Questions about Musical Form

Can we say that all musical work is a collection of materials?
Can we say that all materials have an effect on the listener?
Can we say that every individual material influences the effect the other materials have?
Can we say that the essence of form is the way the effect of each material is influenced by the other materials?
Can we say that the way an individual material influences the effect of other materials is both by its own effect juxtaposed against theirs, and by the way it displaces their position within the form?
